Presentation Summary
Classifying data.  Sounds simple, and it is.  Data should be classified across a spectrum that ranges from mission critical to business vital to important data and finally to archived data.  We will touch on this important and often overlooked concept where you must start in order to thoroughly understand and protect each data set.
 
From there, we will look specifically at how to treat your mission critical data.  Regardless of the cause of downtime, need critical SQL Server data back in 30-seconds?  Need to roll back to a very specific second in time?  How about having complete confidence you can get consistent, usable data back on the first attempt?  Many are skeptical to believe that all of these things can be accomplished together without complicated repair tools.  And, there was a time when having high availability to critical SQL Server data was quite complex and costly.  We will discuss how to pull backup, recovery, and replication together in a powerful yet cost-effective and uncomplicated way.
